Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know exactly what solution I want?
No. Many clients start with a problem rather than a solution. We can work through what is happening now and what would help most.
Do you only work with businesses in the Macedon Ranges?
No. We work with businesses anywhere, remotely, in person or a mix of both. When we're improving how an existing business runs, being there in person often helps, because we can see how things really work day to day. We're based in the Macedon Ranges and happily travel to businesses across the region and beyond, including Melbourne, Bendigo and Ballarat, all within about an hour and a half. New builds from scratch, like a website with online booking and an admin dashboard, work just as well remotely, which is how we've delivered projects for clients in the UK.
Do you build websites?
Yes. Website design and build is one of the things we enjoy most, along with SEO, Google Business Profiles and social media set-up, and it's often part of the broader solution. From a straightforward small-business site through to a website paired with a custom booking system, inspector portal or client-facing app, it's all in scope. Recent examples include Scottish Home Inspections, Cadzow Croft and the social media launch for Winnie is born.
Is this just about AI?
No. AI is one of many tools that may help, but our work is really about saving time, reducing admin and improving how a business runs.
What size business do you work with?
Typically small businesses and growing operators who need practical help without enterprise-level complexity.
Can you help if we are still using spreadsheets for everything?
Yes. That is often exactly where the biggest opportunities sit.
Do you offer one-off help or only bigger projects?
Both. Some businesses need a review and recommendations. Others need help designing or implementing a larger solution.
Can you help us before we engage a developer?
Yes. Defining business requirements clearly before the build stage can save a lot of time, money and rework.
How much does it cost?
Every project is quoted upfront, so you'll know the cost before any work starts. Reviews and smaller pieces of work are a fixed price. Custom tools and websites are quoted as one project price that covers everything from discovery through to launch, with no separate stages to pay for. Ongoing support is agreed separately, along with any third-party costs like hosting or domains. The first conversation is free and there's no obligation.
